So the job search has not been going great, I've been able to keep up a steady stream of applications going out, but no new interviews in the past month. I'm proceeding with my backup plan of operating a taxi service in Brunswick, paperwork for that is almost done, should have the last bits this week and start operating this month. I'm also going to Germany this month, so will probably wait till I'm back from that to start advertising the taxi service.
I'm also pondering trying to monetize my gaming somehow, so a request for any advice from those of you that do that or consume gaming content. I'm sort of assuming play throughs of either video games or board games, but curious of any other ideas. I don't think I'd do reviews or how to play videos as there are quite a lot of folks already doing those. Best platforms for that sort of thing? Youtube/Twitch/Discord/Podcast/something else? Live or prerecorded? And is it more fun to see someone learning a game from the beginning or to play something they know well and can offer some strategy? Either way I'm usually not playing brand new stuff, but games that have been out for a few years.

1) I have a few Twitch subscriptions (some paid), but only got into it because my sister was (and still is) active there. I only watch one game streamer regularly, and he mostly does puzzle games (e.g., Rusty Lake), and engages with the chat pretty well. I'd be more interested in dipping in while you play along (board or video games) and learn games than strategy tips, since I don't play that much these days and am not as competitive as I used to be. I watch Twitch live if it fits my schedule & mood, and hardly ever catch any VOD/YouTube replays from Twitch.
2) I listen to a bunch of podcasts (and support some on Patreon) but not any game podcasts. I'd be mildly interested in reviews from you (board or video), but really I mostly play my favorites on BGA (Splendor and Azul variants, and Euchre) and a few in-person games with my sister and sweetheart occasionally. Most podcasts recorded live (e.g., at events) don't fit my listening standards, though some are getting better.
