1. Maybe they thought that prohibition/story was irrelevant to Christians, because it happened in the Old Testament - which (everyone knows) (a) only pertains to Jews or (b) was over-ruled by Jesus. At least that's how it seems when people want to ignore parts of the Old Testament
such as the parts that specify that a foeutus isn't a person. ::throwing up hands::2. Where are Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Kevin Smith when you really need them?!
