Yay! I'm headed to Sterling Faire. I'll be there the 2nd weekend (July 10,11) as part of the McArgh invasion. A hearty thank you to palefenix for providing transportation.
Sterling was (relatively) close to where I lived when I was a child, and I went there almost every summer. It's the yardstick to which I compare other faires (though when I went last year I realized it was smaller than I remembered it). I hope you enjoy it!
There's a large group of us from the DC area that make the trip every year. We take over a hotel in the nearby town of Wolcott. Definitely a great faire.
