Are you enlightened?

Wow, that's a lot of work. But, really, does
enlightenment matter? In the end, enlightenment
is just another head game that we play. This
person is an enlightened master, that person is
a cabbage,etc. None of these things really
matter in the greater scheme of things. We are
all just food for worms and we cannot know what
is actually going to happen when we die. With
so much being unknown and uncertain, how can we
even attempt to think about understanding what
enlightenment might be, or determining who
might or might not have an inside view on how
the universe works. The Buddhists have a
saying: "Enlightenment is like an arrow
straight to hell." And you don't want to
go to hell, do you? No, I didn't think so.
