There is something about evocative place names that just make me want to go there. While working on a recent map discovered that there is a Worlds End Creek in Maryland. I want to check it out. What's more, it flows through the Hell Hook Marsh. Hmmm, then again it's close to Crapo, maybe not.

I've been at Black Walnut Cove (at the end of Tilghman Island) and that's lovely and a bit bleak. Worlds End is probably very nice.

if it was spelled Crappo I think that would make it less likely to be something good

wonder how come the X-Files folks never discovered Worlds End Creek? they were supposed to be DC area based ... that creek's name alone could have been milked for more than 1 episode

Please don't think I'm crazy, I happened upon your post as I'm a friend of estherchaya.

My maiden name is Crapo. I never knew there was a town of that name. I'm familiar with my distant cousin who is in Congress. Thank you for expanding my familial knowledge.

It's quite possible. It's a bit of a unique name, considering it goes back roughly to the time of the Pilgrims in this country.
