So previously Brunswick elected a 19 year old kid to the city council. Yesterday during the election I got to meet him briefly. I kid you not, he is the spitting image of Prez Rickard. I resisted the impulse to ask him if he fixed clocks in his spare time. Ok, so no one else will get this, that's ok.

Sure, Prez was a comic in the early 70s. They dropped the voting age down to 18 and the comic supposed a teenage president. It was too early in my comic collecting career, but I did see some covers here and there at conventions.

And he made a cameo of sorts in Sandman because you have to use your characters every so often or they vanish into the public domain.
