Also time to plug Maryland's next gaming convention:

Announcing TCEP 15 - The Elder Party

Vote Cthulhu in '08

August 29 - Sept. 1 (Labor Day weekend)

Laurel, Maryland

This is a gaming relaxicon which I highly recommend.

We'll have the usual assortment of both American and German board games with an extra helping of political games to go with this years theme.

Cost is $40 for the weekend.

Hotel info:
Holiday Inn Laurel West
15101 Sweitzer Lane, Laurel, MD 20707
(301) 776–5300
hotel group rate of $105 is available until 8/11/08
group name: Barking Mad

$40 might be worth it, depending on how long I decide to go then. I'll see if my wife is also interested; we could take turns playing games and watching Richard.

Yeah, but I have to decide whether or not the schedule will permit $40 worth.

I'll have to plug it on my LJ later.

Ditto.

I'm just three miles away. I could go there for a day (I could even walk), but it wouldn't be worth it to get a room, nor fair to leave Richard with my wife all weekend.

Point of order....

I've already cleared you for such actions, m'dear. Go forth and game.

Bring your dice coasters so you don't get tables dirty. (Plus, it's classier to suck the vodka off your own belongings than lick a common table)

It's still polite to ask first. See you soon.

Had just seen this on the fantek group. Was wondering if any body had ever heard of them before.
