29 September 2006 15:40The Military Detainee bill has passed Congress and many of you have already written about it - Democrats are still searching for their spine to no avail. I can take some consolation that the entire Maryland delegation voted against it and hold out a feeble hope that the Supreme Court may still strike it down - they've been slightly less blasé about shredding constitutional rights than Congress has of late.
