I'm almost 200 pages into Storm of Swords. I'm progressively figuring out what you're talking about.

Also, unrelated, but did you see this?

You may have to redraw a few maps.

Oh, and regarding this LARP. Could I be a guy who lives alone in the forest and kills anybody who comes near him? Judging from what I've read so far, that might be the safest thing to do.:-)

Granted, seeing as how I live nearly 1,600 miles away, it might be a bit hard for me to participate in a LARP.

Just say that I successfully avoided everybody.

Actually, being the guy off in the woods would be ideally suited for your geographic location.

Would I have to make an occasional saving throw against loneliness?:-P (Not sure if you use saving throws in LARPs)

I'm really not the right person to ask. The only LARP I've ever played is Midnight Seduction (http://www.midnightseduction.com), and that seems to be in a different category from what is discussed here.

You'd probably have to do weekly "survival checks" or something similar to make sure you aren't eaten by a bear.

Thank god I'm already in a game of Thrones tabletop... or I might be tempted. Scratch that, I *am* tempted... but I can resist it better.

JokeBoy, Barrister and Mourn are writing a one-off that'll run at a future Intercon, probably a Boston one. Should be excellent. Ties in "Game of Thrones" and elements of Jacqueline Carey's "Kushiel's" world.
