Albannach

I did make it to the Frederick Celtic Festival, though I didn't stay long. Only thing on note was discovering the excellent band, Albannach. The have a sound similar to The Rogues, but with more cowbell, I mean drums, lots more drums. Anyway, if you're into the Celtic music thing check them out.

And yah, Albannach is a really great band! Minus the bagpiper, it reminded me of Carnival, not Irish or Scottish music. MUCH, MUCH stonger drumlines than the Rogues have, IMHO!

A Celtic band that I haven't heard yet? I'll definitely have to check them out as that's my favorite type of music...plus I love the Rogues, so if they're anything like them then I'm bound to love them! Thanks for the tip. :-)
