Batch 3:

How do you do that voodoo that you do so well?

It's all in the quality of the sacrifices. One healthy baby is better than 100 chickens.

Have you ever considered writing a book?

Not really, I don't consider myself a particularly good writer and can't imagine writing a books worth of stuff someone would want to read. Closest I'd come is maybe writing a RPG supplement of some sort, ala the GURPS sourcebooks.

Have you been to any other pagan gatherings than FSG? if so, which ones?

No. I've considered trying to make it out to Starwood or Gathering of the Tribes one of these years, but haven't made it yet. I have been to public rituals held by a variety other groups and I used to go the Pagan Night Out dinners in DC. I did go to the Blessed Be and Meet Me in DC back when it existed - was more of a political event than your usual Pagan gathering (similar to the Pagan Pride Day events, which sadly I have not gone to - I'm such a slacker).

Kewl, and thank you for answering my question :)

Yeah, I also have yet to experience more Pagan gatherings other than FSG. One of these days, I would also like to check out PSG (Pagan Spirit Gathering) held by Circle Sanctuary http://www.circlesanctuary.org/psg but need the time and funds to make the trip first….

Btw, thank you for being the first one to ask a question on my poll too. I just responded to it here -> http://www.livejournal.com/users/elffire78/23357.html

It is one of my "new year's resolutions" for 2006 to go to more pagan gatherings than gaming events. In that vein, I'll probably be scouting out more stuff at, say, 4QF, as well as more fire circles and the like.

I would always welcome company...

You went to BB&MMDC? Holy crap...I was one of the motivating forces/organizers of the first one! I had to drop out of planning that summer because I got $$ to produce my first play and the timing collided, but I was one of the people right at the very beginning saying, hey, let's do this! I did a shitload of work for it before I had to back out.

What can I say, I was young, full of energy, and stupid. ;-)

Were they fun at least?

We played Sirius Rising, which is the event at Brushwood that's immediately before Starwood, and it was a lot of fun. I'd definitely recommend it anyway, good vendors, lots to do, excellent food vendors, and the pool/shower area is excellent. I'd definitely recommend it!
