Hope everyone has a happy Samhain, may the new year bring you joy. This Samhain I dedicate to my grandfather. He wrote me this letter when I was still a baby, I did not discover it until long after his death. Enjoy.

Euroquest

For the gamers - only 18 days until Euroquest. This is an excellent little gaming-only convention focused on German style boardgames, held near Hunt Valley, MD. If anyone is interested in going and splitting a hotel room with me, let me know.

Thanksgiving

I've started seeing other people's Thanksgiving posts, so figure I better get this out. liakela and I will be hosting Thanksgiving dinner again this year. If you can read this you are invited. The fine folks over at the Harpers Ferry Hostel have offered us the use of their kitchen and dinning room so assuming we get enough interest we'll be there instead of my house - it's only about 5 miles away and has three times the ovens, plus a real fireplace. If you want to join us please post here so we can start getting a head count.
