Phil Foglio is moving on-line!

Dammit...! I don't want a webcomic, I want a real comic! As great as his work is, Foglio's never been able to maintain a schedule, all his previous series had issues with release dates, same with Girl Genius - there's no way he'll be able to hold a 3-times-a-week update for long.

Far as I'm concerned, Girl Genius is over for me unless he releases the webcomics in book form later. I'm not going to dedicate my time to reading only a few panels of an ongoing story separated by days. Heck, the comic itself needed a whole page of catch-up in every issue just so you could remember what happened last time.

On the website it says the whole point of the web comic is to help drive sales of the collections when they come out, so you can indeed wait for the books.

Oh goody. I interpreted the "collections" in that line as referring to TPBs of issues 1-14.
