Wolfowitz wouldn't be the worst candidate, that would definitely fall squarely onto Randy Tobias' shoulders. If you think the idea of an American in charge is scary, just consider that the WB is run by it's civil servants (and thus the head is more or less a figurehead) and that Alan Greenspan is retiring in the next two years and his successor as Chairman of the Fed will be nominated by GWB. After O'Neill and Snow, ya think the Prez might pick a candidate that's going to be fit to take up the mantle as 'Leader of the Free World's Financial Markets (tm)'?
