Well there are some larps that do not involve camping and that are not that far away -- Brassy's comes immediately to mind but I do not know what you prefer. Brassy's is a Victorian Steampunk game.
On the other hand if camping is an inducement to playing a game, I can recommend 1948 Signals which is an adventure game set in 1948 and involving much camping. I do not play 48 but I've heard good things about it. It is in PA though.
Well tonight the boyfriend took me out but tomorrow some friends are coming over and we are hanging and watching one of my favorite Almodavar movies -- "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown". Very funny movie. I was going to invite you over since the Rev. says you don't live far from me.
