The City of Brunswick is willing to provide the space for free for a one-day gaming event! Aiming for January 8th. Book your calendars now.

So it will be just a game day rather than a con, for people that want more than one day of fun I'll probably have a party or something on the following day.

Usually the first weekend of October (haven't got the date yet), Brunswick holds a railroad day festival. If you're going to be in town it's worth a look see. The railroad museum is open and more people are around to answer questions. It's located down town and they block off from the road where you get to the train station to up past the fire hall.

We are a simple people. We are content with the small pleasures in life: the sounds made by the herds as they graze, the laughter of children, the discovery of a new Thai restaurant. The land outside th Beltway is strange to us. We know nothing of the Brunswick of which you speak.

The only Brunswick I know about is in Canada, which is kinda far away from Evecon. What gives?

Mad Rabbit dash?

I'm interested! Settlers and T&E type games would be good, or if there's interest in confrontation, I'd love to play that as well.

i'm interested...

see if anybody's in the mood for a wargame-type of thing? Anything that isn't "diplomacy"-like.

This can include small-scale like Ogre, or non-hex wargames like War at Sea or Victory in the Pacific.

In addition, I've got the new fancy-edition History of the World I'd like to get opponents for...

I'll ask. How about I see if you guys can just stay at the house for the night? It would be easier on everyone.

yeah, I was sorta thinking that too, but didn't want to invade your parents uninvited... we've got time to figure it out though!

I thought the con was a one day event. If the party is to be held the next day then it would have to be held somewhere else. I figured it would be at [livejournal.com profile] kmusser's place. Thus, no impact on park rules.
