Ok, looks like we have a little bit of interest - I'll try to get this show on the road. So vote on when or where if you'd like to be part of a regular RPG group. The 3rd question is to gauge whether others are interested in GMimg as well and if folks would like to try several games or just stick with one. Other suggestions are welcome in the comments.

Just so you know, my "I want to run a game" was a whine cause I don't have the time at the moment to run games. And also either place that you've mentioned as a location is an hour MINIMUM from where I live.

Just an FYI so you weren't expecting anything from me. :)

Duly noted - though I'm probably closer than you might think - add 10 minutes to however long it would take you to get to Harpers Ferry. Still the Sterling folks would probably need it in Sterling if they're gonna play due to little ones.

I think it's an hour and a half (minimum) plus traffic (according to mapquest)

Really? I was thinking y'all were all in WV for some reason. If you're in Fairfax county somewhere then, yes, it's an hour plus - Sterling would be much closer.

My only constraint is that for the time being I'm Metro/pub transport dependant.

I also wanted to add that i have a short-shot (maybe one to three sessions) Changeling TT game in the cooker (and by cooker I mean brain/text file) that I'd love to run for people if given the opportunity.

I can and have run most WW splats, as well as Star Wars, Paranoia, M-Force, and other types of TT games. I also have a wonderful one-shot QAGS game called "Terror at Camp Wakanaka" which is a lot of fun.

I've never done any kind of gaming ever unless you count trivia pursuit but I'd love to give it a try and see if I like it. So, please keep that in mind as I answer the poll.

Oh, I forgot to mention the July dates won't work for me. The first one I'll be packing for vacation and the second one I'll be on vacation.

Newcomers definitely welcome, always happy to introduce someone to the joys of role-playing. The specific game I'm planning on running will be new to everyone, even me.

Well, typically Weekends are bad for me since they are catchup time for all the wasted time commuting during the week. But I can adjust.

I've added you to my rpg filter, so you can go back and read entries tagged with a [rpg] to see what's gone on in the game so far and see if its something you'd be interested in.
