Gosh, literally millions coming out to protest the war. This amazing speech by Senator Byrd, a.k.a. a democrat finally showing some cojones. Not to mention the foot of snow outside my door. Will wonders never cease.

Incredible, isn't it? 2 MILLION people were at the protest in London yesterday - and that's the *police* estimate!(Those of us who go on demos often know that usually the police estimate is 10% of the actual number). That's 3% of the UK population. An INCREDIBLE number. Put it this way - the march was a distance of about a mile and a half, and people were packed shoulder to shoulder. The speeches at the end point in Hyde Park started when the first few thousand had got there, and when they finished, *FOUR HOURS LATER*, there were still a couple of thousand people *at the other end of the march* waiting to leave.
