Sen. Allard from Colorado and Sen. Miller from Georgia have launched an attack on the seperation of church and state, nicely summarized by the American Street.

Religious Liberties Restoration Act (S. 1558)
Constitution Restoration Act (S. 2082 or H.R. 3799)

Should these pass you can kiss your freedom of religion goodbye.

So, basically, if these two things pass, not only is the Judeo-Christian god now part of the Executive/Legislative/Judicial branch system, but it's an impeachable offense if the Supreme Court takes up anyone's claim of infringement due to some other aspect of Government thinking that the J-C g is relevant somehow in a ruling or law? Including religious descrimination suits by non-Xtians, and people who are pro same-sex marriage (b/c of the religious basis of some of the arguments against it, calling for a "defense" of the "sanctity" of marriage).

Holy shit. How on earth can anyone justify tying the hands of the Supreme Court in that way?

I doubt anyone would like Kali-ville and Eris-land too much. Except those of us off-kilter enough to have been chosen by them as playthings to begin with. ("Eris loves me, this I know - for I have the bruises to prove it.") Most people don't particularly enjoy randomness and chaos, and Kali's brand of chaos is a bit more, um, drastic even than Eris'.

Although having two half-naked women with serious attitude problems in the White (er, Blue and Gold) House would be a lot of fun. Let the ass-kicking begin!!
