Holy shit! Our iPods (or what-have-you) must be related. That sounds remarkably like the kind of stuff that comes up on mine. (I tend to keep it on shuffle, as I'm guessing you do as well.)

Nice, and yeah, mine stays on shuffle. Triplets of Belleville and the obscure blues are all gems from my father's collection.

15 years into our relationship, my sweetheart surprised me by translating some other French song on the fly. I had just thought he spoke auf Deutsch, ein klein bisschen. But he's off making LN2 ice cream this weekend. I'll ask him later. :-)
