Samhain

Samhain is a time when the veil between the living and the dead is at its thinnest. It is a time to remember and honor our ancestors and those friends and family that have passed on before us. 2014 has been a rough year for losing loved ones, this spring it was my grandmother and I know many of you lost parents or other loved ones as well. Just hours before our planned dinner for honoring the ancestors I learned another dear friend was gone. Here is raising a glass to the honored dead. Irene Michul, you were an angel on earth and an incredible role model. Kory Kaese, you were as true and loyal a friend as anyone could hope to have. Thank you to zammis and radiant_one for a lovely dinner and to all the ancestors that joined us, you will be remembered.
