Shopping season will soon be upon us. Here on my friends list I know I have some amazingly talented folks selling cooler stuff than will be found in the malls, so I'd like to offer you this opportunity to make a guilt-free pitch to my friends list. Tell us about your music, books, crafts, service, whatever, and give us a link where we can buy it. Only rule is that you can only pitch something you do personally. I'll compile replies from FB, G+, and LJ and toss them up on a webpage for Cyber Monday.

There's a handful of interesting things over in my shop, Just Lori Creations, on Etsy. (http://www.etsy.com/shop/imjustlori) I make hand-spun yarn (returning soon), stitchmarkers for helping keep count while knitting, felted covered soap for that added exfoliation without a washcloth, some lovely wire nest necklaces, and felted balls (returning soon to the shop!).

The felted balls are two ounces of wool grown in the USA, hand-wound and felted by me. They can be used in a dryer as a fabric softener alternative, as toys for children (or to throw at them), as fancy decoration in a pretty basket or bowl, or as pet toys.

I know it's pretty lean at the moment--after Thanksgiving I'll be adding a slew of new items.

(The string itself we get from wholesalers. The books we get direct from the source as much as possible. Just about everything else involves a significant amount of labor on our part.)
