Happy New Year's

Evecon went well. Ran several games on X-bugs on Friday, learned that multi-player games take a long time, will try it with teams next time. Ran Rune on Saturday which was also fun. Also get to see many people and play many Germanesque games.

Had a lowkey New Year's at a friends house. Played more games. Had yummy cheesecake.

Spent most of New Year's Eve and day busily working on GURPS India maps. Received the call today saying that GURPS India has been put on hold, which is disappointing. Fortunately they are still going to buy my maps, which is way cool, even if they aren't going to see print anytime soon. They could have said "we're cancelling the book, you're SOL" but didn't, so I am appreciative. Plus they liked the maps so there may be more freelance opportunities in the future.

Sounds like the good is overwhelming the bad at the moment. Keep me updated on the status of GURPS India... I think that I may be getting back into RPG collecting and I'd like to have something by someone that I know.
