Weekend update

kmusserI had a good Thanksgiving/birthday weekend. Thanks for all the happy birthday wishes.
We had about a dozen folks over for Thanksgiving, much food was eaten, many games were played. I got to learn Quarriors, basically a deck building game that uses dice instead of cards, I quite liked it, because dice are cool. Friday was more games and an outing to see the new Muppet movie, yay muppets! Definitely worth seeing. Saturday was a mostly lazy day, made a Wikipedia map, and then in the evening ventured out to see TMBG and Jonathon Coulton. The Coulton set was way too short, but TMBG were awesome, played most of Lincoln, a bunch of older songs I'd never heard them do live before - also the unexpected Black Sabbath cover by sock puppets.
Today rather groggy as I slept poorly last night, hopefully will do better tonight. Also our sink died in the Thanksgiving clean-up, I could do without the stream of house repairs. But it's ok because I have cheesecake, everything is better with cheesecake.
