  • DJT wants the census to not count immigrants, following through on that would be blatantly unconstitutional (source).

Wednesday 7/22
  • More details on our new secret police.
  • DHS spinning secret police kidnappings as "proactive arrests", which, yeah, that's not a thing, that's doublespeak for arresting people that haven't done anything (source).
  • DJT resumes giving daily Covid-19 briefings, and they are entirely filled with nonsense just like they were before (source).

  • DJT brags about passing cognitive test (source, here's the test, I'll let you judge for yourself how difficult it is, as a P.S. this is a test for seeing if someone has dementia, passing it doesn't mean you're some sort of genius, it just means you probably don't have dementia).

  • DJT attacks Liz Cheney for being opposed to his troop withdrawals (source).
  • Administration repeals rule against housing discrimination (source).
  • ICE has not followed court order to release detainees (source).

Friday 7/24
  • Federal judge issues order blocking Federal agents from attacking journalists - that we should need such an order is not normal (source).
  • Federal agents continuing to attack protesters (source).
  • DJT continues to push for schools re-opening, floats an exemption for schools in Covid-19 hotspots (source).
  • To that end, CDC issues new DJT-approved guidelines for opening schools (source).
  • DJT cancels Jacksonville GOP convention (source).
  • China closes a U.S. consulate in China (source).
  • Congress is supposedly working on a new Covid-19 aid bill that would among other things continue unemployment benefits, but nothing definite to report yet.
