Representative Corrine Brown from Florida made the following speech opposing a measure barring any federal official from requesting that the United nations formally observe the U.S. elections on Nov. 2 (part of H.R. 4818).

For daring to suggest the Bush "stole" the election in 2000, Rep. Brown was censured and her speech stricken from the record.

The measure she was opposing passed.
