kmusserStuff going on, most of which I won't go to, but posting in case anyone else is interested:
Tomorrow - Fairport Convention at the Birchmere - no way I'll make it.
Friday - Burlesque (Pontani Sisters, Todd Robbins, Dirty Martini, Corn Mo, Trixie Little and the Evil Tap Dancing Hate Monkey) also at the Birchmere - I'm still midly hopeful about going.
Weekend - Balticon, FiranCon, a couple of LARPs, VARF, Gathering of the Tribes, and the LOTR Symphony is playing at George Mason.
Gaming opportunities: Thursday (Rockville), Friday (Silver Spring), and Saturday (Frederick), Sunday (Reston), plus of course Balticon.
For me preperations for FSG take priority, but if I get some of them out of the way I might get some gaming in, plus I'd really like to go to the LOTR thing.

Date: 27 May 2005 20:50 (UTC)Seriously though it depends on what sort of stuff you're looking for in a festival - FSG has lots of diverse stuff going on - as a one day thing it might be a little hectic - I find it takes me a day just to adjust to the atmosphere of the place. It will however give you a taste to see if it's your kind of thing or not.
