Lots of stuff.

Had a fun weekend. Decided to skip the LARP Friday so I'd have a chance to see zammis, and spent a quiet, snuggly evening watching Slayers instead. Saturday was gaming. I might write reviews at some point but the short version is that I really like Hansa and Caribbean and was not impressed by Atlantic Storm or Die Gärten der Alhambra. Sunday went down to the Smithsonian with squire_liz to ooh and aah over old games.

This coming weekend promises more craziness. Friday party with wanderingbastet. Saturday party with zammis. Sunday party with the LJ-less Sherry and Oscar. We'll see if my liver survives.

For you Celtic music lovers a reminder that Enter the Haggis is playing Jammin Java this Thursday, I'll be there.

For all you going to the OHF Ball or the Fairie Festival I hope you have a great time.

Odd... I like Alhambra... what was it about the game that didn't grab you?

Die Gärten der Alhambra is a different game than Alhambra, apparently a remake of an older game attempting to cash in on the Alhambra name.

It's the Changling one up in College Park that I've mentioned before, mostly nobles, though I'm being a redneck Eshu. Meets once a month on a Friday evening. YahooGroup: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/DCinShadow/ There's no schedule or other info besides what's on the YahooGroup (or getting ahold a storyteller and shaking them till they tell you what you want to know). As far as I know next months game hasn't been scheduled yet. If interested I can pass along a storyteller's e-mail.
