  • DJT fires intelligence community inspector general, that would be the person whistleblower complaints go to, one more step in making the U.S. intelligence agencies DJT's personal spying service (source).
  • DJT bans the export of medical medical masks and gloves (source, Canada not happy about that).
  • CDC to begin tracking Covid-19 patients (source).

Monday 4/6
  • DJT doubles down on recommending unproven anti-malarial drugs (source, why that's a bad idea, TL;DR they have death as possible side effect).
  • DJT gives yet another briefing showing he has no clue - White House expecting peak of pandemic next week (source), note that the pandemic is expected in peak next week *in New York*, for most of the country it won't be for another 2-3 weeks, for most of the Midwest it won't be for a month yet, I'll repeat the table of when pandemic is expected to peak in each state (scroll to the bottom).
  • Fed will back emergency SBA loans (source).

Tuesday 4/7
  • DJT replaces oversight over stimulus funds with DJT loyalist (source).
  • DJT declares that HHS report detailing hospital shortages is fake (source).
  • DJT press secretary Stephanie Grisham is out, Kayleigh McEnany is in, along with other personnel changes in DJT communications team (source).
  • Navy Secretary resigns (source).
  • Court strikes down rollback of EPA greenhouse gases rule (source).

Thursday 4/9
  • Fed is continuing its loan binge (source).
  • IRS doesn't have the staff to make disburse the stimulus checks in a timely fashion (source).
  • DJT now says we don't need Covid-19 tests (source) - this article also explains why we need widespread tests, if we had testing widely available we could quarantine the people that have Covid-19 and re-open things for everybody else, but we don't, so we have to treat everyone like they have it because we don't know.

Friday 4/10
  • U.S. using Covid-19 rules to expel more immigrants (source).
  • States and Federal government still fighting over medical supplies (source).
  • California declares it will no longer cooperate with Federal government on Covid-19 response (source).
