Because I know there are a few fans here - The Pogues (including Shane) are coming the the 930 club March 9th. Tickets go on sale in a 1/2 hour.

tis the roughly the going rate for concerts of Big Names (tm) - I think that they're doing the show there and not at a stadium is awesome, they'd have no problem selling out an larger venue at a higher price if they wanted to.

It's about what they cost last time they played at the 9:30 too, if I remember correctly. What really irks me is the additional $10 in assorted "because we can, suckers!" fees that Ticketmaster adds on.

Buying them through the club instead of ticketmaster, they only tacked on $1 per ticket.

These actually went on sale a couple of days ago (if you sign up at pogues.com they send you updates like that and "super secret" links). Anyway, we got 4 tickets ourselves- hope to see you there. Last year's show was AWESOME!
