kmusserSo I'm greeted today by the rather wonderful news that Kaine won in Virginia. Even more surprising is that Dick Black lost. For those of you not from the area, Dick Black is responsible for most of the lunatic right bills coming out of the Virginia state legislature over the last couple of years. His district is overwhelmingly Republican and they just threw him out on his ass. There is hope yet. And to quote Wonkette:
"And, er, uhm. Did the Democrats really win? Am I taking crazy pills?!?"
Speaking on being thrown out on their ass - anti-"Intelligent Design" sweep of Dover, PA school board. The Kansas story has been getting a lot more press, but there you go.
Also the normally staid Congressional Quarterly tells the White House to piss off.
Also the Governator's ballot measures soundly trounced. So yay.
Of course Texas bans gay marriage, you can't win them all. Also, it's Texas.
