Brunswick Games Day

A huge thank you for everyone that joined us for Brunswick Games Day. As usual the day passed in a bit of a blur for me. It didn't start out great for me as I forgot to pick up the key to the building, so I had to have the police open and at the end lock up for me - one of those times I really appreciated being in a small town as they didn't seem to mind and it worked out fine. webqatch's friend's daughter took care of the con suite for me which was a big help and I think I got to spend more time actually playing games as a result. Only new one for me was AmuseAmaze which is sort of cross between Boggle and a race game, recommended to those that like word games. All in all we probably had around 100 people, which is about what I've been drawing to these. Good to see lots of friends. We'll do it all again next year, mark it now, January 3, 2009 (which will be the 5th annual - scary).

Idol Hands

We're having a character generation party for our LARP this Saturday. If you've been pondering whether or not to join us, now is the time to sign up. For those of you already signed up, tell your friends :-)

Basic info reminder:
Campaign LARP in the DC area based on American Gods
usually meeting the 2nd Saturday of the month in the afternoon.
Our 1st game is scheduled for February 9th.

The deadline for our Body Transformation Weekend is only a week away. If you're planning on getting a tattoo you must sign up and contact the artist about your design and pricing by January 15th.

Edit: note if we don't have enough confirmed people getting work done we will cancel the event, so far we only have 3.
