Checking In
20 September 2003 23:16Survived Isabel relatively unscathed. Our power went out around 10 on Thursday night. I stayed up late listening to the wind.
In the morning there were many large tree branches down, but no damage done. Power came back on around noon.
We hosted gaming Friday night as planned and had probably our largest crowd yet at 15 people. Many of the folks that came out still had their power out at home. One of our friends had their roof collapse on their bedroom during the night, ruined most of their clothes (including garb) and books. Made me realize how lucky we were.
Today borrowed the van from Zammis and headed out to the Brunswick house with a load of boxes. Thankfully there was no damage there either. Judging from the clocks the power there had been out less than an hour.
