That map is grounds for a lot of worry.

Also, a Canadian angle on the Paris Accords announcement of yesterday, courtesy of CBC News.

I think you may be misinterpreting the map there, it's just mapping soil properties, not any human activity - that some soils are more prone to erosion than others shouldn't be a shocker, but now we know where they are, which is useful for conservation planning. Thanks for the CBC link.
