Oh the gluttony

Still recovering from the weekend.

Thursday had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner with liakela, zammis, kalkail, kolyada, sharrainchains, histoire68, Reba, George, and Charlie, and Sam's friends from work, Rosa and Jorge. liakela once again proved her master chef skills. Thanks to everyone that brought stuff. The food and drink was yummy and plentiful (mmmm, sangria). Afterwords chrisv and nachoha joined us for games and there was much gaming goodness including Apples to Apples, Puerto Rico, Medici, Nanofictionary, Munchkin, and Pirate's Cove. Also broke out the crayons to draw "children's" pictures to send off to our friends in Iraq c/o Reba :-)

zammis, kalkail, kolyada, and chrisv were with us for most of the weekend. histoire68 stayed for Friday. Friday we went to Isabella's for a 2nd round of food orgy. The rest of the weekend was spent sleeping and eating and gaming. Special thanks to kalkail for indulging my Game of Thrones obsession.

Sunday was my birthday and wylddelirium was able to join us. I got pizza and cheesecake and more sangria and more gaming time. Life is good. Sam even got me a reserve cheesecake for when I finish the first one - now that is love :-)

Oh, dear - I hope you are willing to accept belated birthday wishes! I wish that your year may bring you more of the good that you have in your life and all the rest of what you want. I am glad you had such a good celebration - thank you (again) for including me on Thursday. You all are the best hosts/hostesses! BTW, I demand a Puerto Rico rematch!
